Karewa Parade is a good example of what a well-considered new build can look like when the brief is genuinely client-led. The family came in with a clear sense of how they wanted to live, and our job was to build a home that delivered on that.
The standouts here are the features incorporated into the design from the very start, including a dedicated home office that functions as one. A downstairs pool room that serves as a social hub, separate from the main living areas, and a stunning kitchen positioned as the centre of the house.
Material selections and the architectural detailing are the things that make a home feel considered rather than just built. The result sits comfortably in the higher end of the market without feeling like it’s trying too hard. Refined, but practical. Coastal, but polished.
The coastal Papamoa location informed many of the design choices, including materials that perform well near the sea, a layout that takes advantage of the light, and an overall feel that suits the relaxed beachside neighbourhood.
